Who Am I?

I’m an active-duty United States Marine currently transitioning into cybersecurity. While serving, I earned my Associate degree in General Studies from the University of Maryland Global Campus and am now pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance at Western Governors University..

I am preparing to earn my CompTIA Security+ certification by June 2026 while earning CompTIA A+ and Network+ along the way and will be participating in the Allegiant Vets Cybersecurity SkillBridge program from May 25, 2026 through my End of Active Service on September 18, 2026. This program focuses on real-world security operations, incident response, cloud security, and enterprise defense.

In addition to formal education and training, I actively build hands-on projects to strengthen my technical foundation including Linux administration, networking, VPN deployment, and security-focused labs. My goal is to transition into an entry-level cybersecurity or SOC analyst role where I can apply military discipline, analytical thinking, and a strong security-first mindset. I’m committed to learning, building, and proving my capability every step of the way.
